Despite the bloodletting, nobody has raised the white flag of surrender, not in Gaza, not in the West Bank, not in Lebanon or Yemen.

No matter how long the wars continue, wars that the USA and Israel have been waging against Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Iran; no matter how man ceasefires and MOUs the Americans and the Israelites make and break; no matter how many hospitals and schools they bomb and destroy; no matter how many children they maim and kill; no matter how shamelessly they cheat and lie and swindle, it is now an indisputable fact that Iran has dealt the US a military defeat of a magnitude not witnessed since 1950, when the Chinese Army crossed the Yalu River into Korea and destroyed the forces of the Colonial West.

Then, in October of 1950, when the colonial forces, commandeered by the war criminal MacArthur under a ‘United Nations’ flag, had advanced to the Yalu River, pillaging and destroying entire villages, and threatening to expand their war into China, Marshall Peng Dehuai had sprung a tactical surprise by moving in stealth hundreds of thousands of troops into North Korea, and together with the Korean People’s Army, in two phases of fighting, in bitterly cold weather, had out flanked and outmanoeuvre the Americans, and dealt them a bloody defeat. By the end of 1950, the land war in North Korea had been essentially wrapped up.

Defeated, the colonial forces had then retreated to the south, committing unspeakable brutalities against women and children – just as they had committed them on their way north at Sinchon, Ganghwa, Namyangju, No Gun Ri, and then, had mounted an unhinged and unparalleled bombing campaign, which together with chemical and biological warfare using anthrax, plague and smallpox pathogens, had destroyed every town and city in North Korea, and had left over 3 million people dead.

Then, the Colonial West, unable to continue its military campaign, had quickly arranged a ceasefire in the form of an armistice. However, its military defeat was clear to the entire world, as was the rise of China as a Great Power.

Now, as then, the Colonial West is on the rampage. It has armed Israel, underwritten its economy, provided it diplomatic cover, and abetted it in every way possible in its campaign of genocide in Gaza, unparalleled in its grotesque sadism. The Colonial West has overseen its settler-colony mass murder of nearly half of Gaza’s population and obliterated almost every structure from Beit Hanoun to Jabalia to Gaza City, from Bureij to Deir al Balah to Khan Yunis to Rafah. Every hospital, every university, every school has been reduced to rubble. The Colonial West has expanded its assault into Lebanon, bombing and murdering at will. It has attacked Yemen, its ports and cities. It has unleashed its attack-dog on Syria. And it has begun a military campaign on Iran, bombing and maiming and killing, with its criminal-in-chief threatening to destroy Iranian Civilization itself.

The scale of this monstrous violence is shocking, but not new; it is not new now in 2026, nor was it new then in 1950. If the thread that ties all the violence together between now and then, if it is unravelled backwards in time, then we arrive at the era of the Great Crime, over half a millennium ago, when people of the territorially insignificant countries of West Europe set sail to colonise, loot and disfigure entire continents, to enslave and exterminate entire populations, and to turn their whiteness into a psychological weapon of control over the centuries.

However, the frenzy of violence unleashed today seems as if the Colonial West fears that its control has begun to slip, that the thread will soon unspool going forward in time. Despite the bloodletting, nobody has raised the white flag of surrender, not in Gaza, not in the West Bank, not in Lebanon or Yemen. As for Iran, it has destroyed every American military base in the Gulf, and then bombed the retreating Americans in their bases in Jordan. And the entire Resistance stands firm as the tide of battle turns, across fronts, where Gaza has been the spearhead.

This is a historic moment. Colonialism is on the cusp of total defeat. What we witness is a great spear being driven into the heart of its settler-colony, Israel. Iran is the mighty shaft of the spear. Hezbollah in Lebanon, Ansarallah in Yemen, and the Hashd al-Sha’abi in Iraq are the stabilizing fins.

And Gaza is the spearhead.
